I studied Biological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. I specialized in Ecology and did my degree thesis on granivorous birds and its association with grazing intensity and vegetation. I participated as an assistant in several projects where I had the opportunity to work with different species of birds such as Tyto alba, Tyrannus savana, Mimus saturninus, Molothrus bonariensis, and Myioborus brunniceps. These experiences traced my path, my passion for birds, and fieldwork. I am currently starting my PhD entitled "Parental investment strategies and benefits of cooperative breeding in the Grayish Baywing (Agelaioides badius)" directed by Dr. María Cecilia De Mársico. The main goals are to study the costs of parental care, examine investment strategies by reproductive adults and helpers in the care of the offspring, and evaluate possible benefits of cooperative breeding at the level of reproductive success.
