Throughout the biology career, I got involved in many projects, from animal physiology to biotechnology, until I finally joined ones with field work, where I realised that it was there where I belonged. Since I was a little kid, I have always been passionate about nature as well of its care, being also very curious about animal behaviour. Currently, my work as a PhD candidate is to study the interaction of weather variables, predation and brood parasitism of the Shiny Cowbird (Molothrus bonariensis) on the reproductive success of the Chalk-browed Mockingbird (Mimus saturninus), at woodlands of Buenos Aires Province, an ecosystem modified by habitat transformation. The resulting information of this PhD, regarding climate change, could serve as a basis for future work focused on the conservation of woodlands species and the management of the protected area. My investigation advisors are Dr. Juan Carlos Reboreda and Dr. Vanina Fiorini.
